Leave at least 1 4 inch edge around the installation area.

Place a section of paneling in place at your starting point.
Apply strong adhesive to the tile and the wall.
Hold it up on the wall and mark the edge of the paneling on the tile wall.
Remove the paneling piece.
Make sure that the holes line up with the faucet bars and shower head prior to pressing down on the surround.
Once the adhesive is in place install the shower surround.
The masonry screws must pass through the wainscoting and the tile and penetrate the wall by at least 1 2 inch.
Secure your wainscoting in place with masonry screws and a drill equipped with a carbide tipped drill bit.
Choose the proper screw length based on the thickness of your tile and the wainscoting panels.
Scratch the tile with sandpaper to rough up the surface.
