Pull the lock rod out. Pull the entire lock mechanism up and guide it out of the door. There are 2 screws holding each door panel on. 9 32 socket will remove them the first screw is located under the control panel the part with your window controls lock controls you remove this part by lifting the smallest end straight up.

There s a cable that goes from the handle to the latch mechanism and it often breaks or seizes up. Push in on the clip near the bottom of the door using a screwdriver to release it. Unplug the harness from the mechanism and use a screwdriver to push out the clips holding the actuator to the mechanism then pull it off.
