Installing a led curved light bar on your overhead rack requires a waterproof connector of some sort. The wiring will be much longer in lineal metres and less discreet however it is an applicable option and generally only needs cable ties to install. Now comes the critical part. Take the red wire of the light and join it with the red wire of the switch.

If you have no wiring harness use a relay if your light bar draws over 5 amps. If your led light bar came with a wiring harness and it includes a relay use it end of story. The cabling is run along the length of the roof attached to the roof rack or rail and in the case of a ute will generally loop across to either the sports bar or headboard of the tray itself and head down to the chassis rail then off to the engine bay. When directly switching a light bar use a switch with a minimum 10a rating.

This is the best method because it is the shortest distance for the wire to travel and it has the least chance of getting smashed in your door jamb. Then use the wiring connectors to join the wires from your relay switch or control box to those from your light bar red to red and black to black. Make a connection between the light and the relay switch. The diagram below shows the bottom side of a standard 12vdc automotive relay.
