Working with roof tiles is a lot easier when you know a couple of basic tricks.
To ensure your tile roof system is not compromised it s best to replace the broken tiles as soon as possible.
Secure the underlayment with nails that are at least 2 inches from the edge of the roof.
Install the underlayment for the new roof tile next working with 10 foot sections at a time.
Also dab a small amount of silicone on the top left corner of the new tile.

To begin remove the old roof tile.
Then use a brick trowel to lift up the broken over the baton underneath and slide it down and out.
Do this using two pieces of timber to hold them up.
