First i measured the old threshold in place.
Start at either end of the opening and caulk where the door frame meets the threshold.
How to do it.
Slide the threshold into the area you have just cleared of the old wood and screw in using the screws supplied with the threshold kit.
To cut a metal threshold use tin snips and a saw equipped with a metal cutting blade to make the cuts.
Be careful not to accidentally saw into your flooring.
To remove one use a nail set and hammer to poke the nails.
Mark the new threshold.
Attach and secure threshold.
Cut the old threshold with a back saw or a reciprocating saw.
Trace along the entire length of the threshold with caulk on.
Once your wood is ready spread a thin layer of silicone adhesive along the bottom of the door area.
