On the bottom edge of the door you ll notice a cap.
Most of the time the door will pop right off.
Open the door and locate the head stop screw at the top corner of the door frame right where the door would touch the frame when it closes.

Start by lifting the door panels upward to free the bottom from the track.
Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go.

Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw.

If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step.
If there are brackets at the bottom remove the screws that secure the door to the brackets before lifting the door out.
If you can t undo it with a manual screwdriver try a power screwdriver.
Unscrew the head stop with a power or phillips screwdriver.
To remove the screen door use a flathead screwdriver.
After you detach all of the interior and exterior trim remove the door frame from the wall opening.
The first thing you have to do to get started is to remove the sliding glass door panels from the frame.
Then try lifting it up a little and pulling it towards you.
