To remove an electric garage door opener first close the garage door all the way then unplug the motor unit from the electrical outlet.

Use their jaws to secure the bottom of the door to the roller track then try to move the door.
Once you locate where the wheels on the door are jumping off the track snap locking pliers.
Open and straighten the track at the spot where the roller has jumped out of the track use a pair of pliers and open up the track.

Partially open the door and until the damaged track is lined up with one of the rollers.
