Ensure the two wheels will rest on the metal track tab.
How to put back sliding screen door.
The door should be securely in place.
Release the wheel when it s over the track.
Insert the door s wheels into the double track inside the upper door jamb lifting it as far as it will go.
Make any adjustments from the inside and use shims as needed to ensure a secure fit.
Insert the rollers on top of the screen door into the screen door.
Apply silicone caulk to your drip edge and put it along the top of the opening between your siding and house wrap.
Release the door and let it swing gently back to the vertical position.
Make sure the lock mechanism on the screen door is oriented to the inside of the house and faces toward its hasp in the frame.
With a bit of maneuvering you can easily put the door back on.
After you lower the door lower the wheels by turning each screw clockwise to secure the door in the frame.
Take a minute to test fit your prehung sliding door to the opening.
Create a piece of drip edge the size of the opening.
Fit the door back in place and almost close it then adjust the screws to even up the gap between jamb and door lifting the frame 1 8 inch above the track and you re ready to roll.
Lower the door when both wheels are on the track.
Angle the bottom of the door toward you while you let it down and the wheels should hook right onto the track.
Spritz axles with lubricant.
Raise the wheel by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise.
If your door is on hinges place the door back into your door frame and place the hinge pins inside of the hinges.
Lift each of the wheels with a flat head screwdriver while you push the door in.
