Open the door while holding the roller against the track. Hit the end of the roller in the hinge with a hammer to push it back into place. Set the roller back in the track. Use a rubber mallet to tap the edge of the roller back into the track.

This can be an easy fix and requires no tools. The roller should smoothly move up and down in the track. Locate where the roller popped out of the track. Top roller is the easiest garage door wheel to put back.

Similarly if a roller pops out of the track the repair is to uninstall the hinge first then tip the roller wheel into the track. Make sure the roller is in the center of the track. If this doesn t work proceed to the next step. Lift the garage door so the roller and the length of track you bent are lined up again.
