How to pick a door handle lock with a paperclip.
Some locksmiths also put a tiny upward bend into the tip of the pick.
First make sure you have a door lock that has a pinhole on the outside.
For the first pick you are going to make what s called a rake.
Make anywhere from 2 to 5 of these bends.
The door should pop open.
You will be inserting the straight part into the lock to use as a pick.
To do this start by bending your paper clip into a large hook.
The non locking side of the door should have a small hole likely on the face of the knob.
Once you ve done this stick your paperclip into the pinhole and wait until you feel a small hole on the inside of the lock and twist the paperclip.
Now take your paperclip and open it up so it s straight and flat.
The end that is arced should be pointed upward so that the tip of the pick can work at pushing the lock pins up.
Slide the lock pick your first hairpin into the lock just above the lever.
You simply need a straight stiff.
Then insert it into the gap in the door and feed it behind the latch.
Keep feeding it through until the end of the paper clip comes back out the front where you can reach it.
To do this unfold the large edge of your paperclip twice until a straight portion juts out.
Using your pliers bend the long straight end of the paper clip 90 degrees to form the handle of the tension wrench.
This is the part that will go in the lock.

Unfold the first paperclip into the lock pick.
Squeeze those two parts together.
